 HONOLULU, HI — OCTOBER 4, 2024 — Centre Urban Real Estate, via it's local principal, has successfully sold Royal Lauhala Apartments, a fully occupied 9-unit multifamily complex in the coveted Waikiki submarket of Honolulu, Hawai'i for $5.2 million or $577,778 per unit, a market high. The asset was part of a portfolio owned by the family that had originally resided on the property and developed the existing concrete walk-up building in the late 1960s. Centre Urban was initially brought in to analyze the family's situation in 2019 and was ultimately asked to be the investment manager on behalf of the family.
The buyer is Midway Realty, a Honolulu-based management company, and was represented by Commercial Asset Advisors in the transaction.
